Largely been the way of the mother and Pop shops. One of the biggest challenges faced by attractive alternative for eBay sellers who are willing to give them a shot. You need a list to attract bidders and you need to attract traffic sellers. This whole chicken and egg story.

The challenge with eBay.
The good news is millions of buyers and sellers meet online every month to search for bargains, rare and unique items and yes even a car collector. Bad news, fake cashier checks, car theft, fraud emails and many more. As you can see from the statistics we gathered a lot of people spend $ 45.00, answering many questions, send lots of pictures and unfortunately the car was still sitting in the garage. Ebay part 2

Most of these sites claim to be “100 Percent custom hand coded by developers”. Doing some Googling for “website templates”. Look through some places that offer web templates for sale. You will most likely be run on website design for sale. View source sites for sale - you may find that the seller forgot to delete the comment code which states that “This site was developed by “. Actually there are websites that SELL turnkey web businesses for sale on Ebay, and they use this template all the time, again and again.

If you are still in doubt, email the seller to your question. If this site really over-and-up, they will be honest. If not, they will avoid your questions like bullets.

One more thing to consider: Often these sites will come with “Dirt Cheap Web Hosting”, for something like $ 6.99 per year. Think about it - will be a TRUE e-commerce sites are getting tons of traffic and relies on the sale of web hosting lowest bidder? Nope.

Now, do not get me wrong - there ARE a good web business is available from time to time on Ebay … but with the availability of so many free website scripts and templates, they seem few and far between. Caveat Emptor, my friends - let the buyer beware.

However, if you want to learn more about the real ebay business and sell things and make a real good sales,

Ebay part 1

If you peruse Ebay a lot, you’ll see a lot of members selling website businesses. Often these ads as “prison guards”, they claimed that the site has made X dollars per month for X months. Efforts including expired domain name search, online auction sites, credit repair sites, dating and adult sites, etc. Look at the current bid or the price - $ 1.99? What gives? If this site is making money, why do they want to sell? Here are some tips to help avoid buying a waste of time.

Look at the domain name. Doing a Google search for it. Does it appear? Please note how long the seller claims the site has been in business. Go to Internic and doing Whois on domain name … How long has it existed? Likely less than a month.

Is there a bid on it? bid amount is generally a good indicator of how legit this “business” is. If there are only 25 minutes left in the auction, and there was one bid for a very low dollar amounts, this one is most likely a dog. If you come down to 25 minutes and there are 60 bids on it up to 500 dollars, most likely the guard.

Proof of income. Some sites display a screen shot of their payment processor. Visit the website. Does the same payment processor? For example, is a screen shot on Ebay from 2checkout, and Paypal is the only payment method on the site? Tang me.

4. Purchasers also should be aware of “too-good-to-be-true” prices. Chances are items that cost far below their real prices are signs of imminent fraudulent activities.

5. Online buyers should note phishing emails. This is an email that requires customers to fill out a form provided in the email warning with a statement saying the customer’s account will be closed if the person concerned will not provide the necessary relevant information. Once given, anomalous events in their journey as identity theft.

6. Purchasers also should be aware of sellers that allow them to pay the amount of direct transfer bid from the buyer’s account. Worst, the seller argued that a given bank account is Escrow’s.

7. Online shoppers should be weary of their claim agency escrow but ask payments be made to a person, not a corporation. This is a clear case of fraud.

Dumb With Scam part 1

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:45 am

Everything on E-bay seemed perfect: nice shopping portal, almost complete buyer’s list, and a comfortable place to do shopping online. In fact, it was too good to be true.

If this happens, then it’s time for a warning signal to buyers red alert because if things on E-bay seems to good to be true, maybe this and maybe not even comparable to the buyers time and money.

There are many frauds and scams’ going on the Internet today and E-bay is not excused. Thus, it is important for buyers to detect early signs of fraudulent activity before their day. Here’s how to do it:

1. Purchasers should look for the seller feedback section. If a seller has a lot of entries and almost 50% of it is negative, the possibility of a transaction with this seller will turn out tricks, even if the seller has provided positive replies.

2. Online shoppers should be aware of the opinion that an email from E-bay and certification as a good seller. This was distorted in the first place because the E-bay does not send emails. Plus, E-bay would not declare a seller even if he has a history of exceptional sales.

3. Purchasers should be aware of sellers who insist on Western Union transfer as a means of payment. In fact, E-bay does not recommend the buyer to use the transfer service. If the seller insists on it, then, no doubt it’s a scam.

Dropshipping and eBay - Is It All a Scam or is there a Real Business Opportunity Here?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:42 am

If you have been researching work at home job opportunities than no doubt you come in the drop-shipping. You may have seen a hundred ads trying to sell e-books that will tell you all the secrets to eBay or tempted by a “free” instant auction success kit of some kind, right? If you have been unlucky enough to be victims of this fraud any you may have dismissed eBay and drop-shipping as a legitimate business. Do not give up yet! Motivated individuals can build a successful eBay drop-shipping business with zero dollars out of pocket. But How?

There are several important factors to your success as a drop-shipper. First and foremost you must select the drop-shipper that is approved by eBay and there are only TWO. Once you have selected the drop-shipper you need to select a product to sell. Avoid selling products that are highly saturated on eBay. For example, everyone and their brother sells MP3 players at the moment so your chances of getting sales is much lower than if you target a market that is not too crowded like a belt buckle. Try and build an inventory of related products so you can pick up additional sales from your customers. If you sell a computer and a customer decides to buy the unit from your desktop, it might as well buy a printer or other accessories if you have them in stock.

Price is always a sticky area for beginners. Number one mistake drop new Shippers and eBay users make is to forget to factor in costs when the list of their belongings. For example …. You can get a hunting knife from the drop-shipper for $ 70 plus $ 4 shipping for a total of $ 74. You decide to list on Ebay $ 80 $ 6 profit … right? WRONG! There are no fees to receive your auction Paypal payment, they are no listing fees and final value eBay fees. In this example you will actually lose between $ 2 and $ 5, depending on your listing format. There is a very simple formula to avoid this problem by making sure you always make a profit. Don’t Let Negative Feedback On Ebay Get You Down part 2

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:41 am

Sometimes, a customer has a legitimate complaint. Next time the customer has not jumped the gun and give a fair opportunity to solve the problem. Even possible that your customer is a sadist who liked to torture people to take another.

Apart from that, you can make an offer to exchange agreed to withdraw negative feedback from one another.

If you both agree and follow the procedure eBay, negative feedback will be removed from both of your total score (which increases both feedback ratings). Negative comments themselves will not be removed by eBay, but you will not respond to defend himself.

Even if this tactic to remove the negative feedback does not work, at least you tried. Do not let your pride stand in the street trying to make peace with customers and turn a negative feedback.

If customers do not agree, at least you’ve told your side of the story. Let your prospects decide whether they want to do business with you or not.

I personally like it when I saw an eBay vendor with a feedback rating of excellent. Realistically, however, I realized that you can not please everyone. Even if you do everything perfectly, there are still people who just do not make sense.

So, even if a seller has some negative feedback, if the majority overwwhelming pleased with him, I tend to discount a few dissidents. I suggest you do the same thing in evaluating others as yourself.

Don’t Let Negative Feedback On Ebay Get You Down part 1

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:39 am

Remember the student in school who complained (or even cried) because they only get ninety-nine percent mark on an assignment or test. Meanwhile, some of us were relieved (if not happy) to have just passed.

I actually witnessed one case where the math student insisted that he was not wrong. On rechecking the test, the teacher realized the answer sheet is wrong and not a student. Students get a hundred percent correct.

Realistic, however, most of us lesser human beings can not expect to get a perfect score or score at any time.

First of all, none of us are perfect. We all make mistakes.

Second, do not like math, some subjects are more subjective in nature. Particular subject, the answer may not only true or false. Teachers may have greater freedom in how your score is calculated. Teachers even (consciously or unconsciously) raise or lower your score is based on whether they like you (or your attitude) or not.

Similarly, in business, you can not please everyone all the time.

On eBay or other Internet auctions, you will not be able to satisfy everyone. Even if you have a hundred percent positive feedback on eBay now, eventually it must fall.

Not all your customers will be happy with you all the time. You may make mistakes that lead to unhappy customers. Sometimes factors beyond your control (such as a lost shipment) can result in negative feedback.

Sometimes, you might even get a customer who does not make sense. If he leaves you negative feedback, sometimes all you can do is leave negative feedback again. This is not so much as an act of revenge, but rather a matter of presenting your side of the story.

Doing Your Holiday Shopping On Ebay. part 2

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:37 am

Shop in Advance.

This is a bad idea to use eBay for your holiday shopping at the last minute - prices will be high, and the item may not appear in time. Every year there are prizes to the children so that all the stores sell out, and began to appear on eBay at a premium. Parents then pay hundreds of dollars and still not get one in time for the big day. Do not fall into this trap.

Remember you’re in Silly Season.

Holiday season is peak time at eBay - a lot of people there, and they are often inexperienced, bidding things much higher than they should. Try not to pay too much for an item just because the last one will appear in time, or because someone else is bidding too high. You should always know when to cut losses, stop bidding and just go get something from the store alone.

Have Fun!

Do not take it too seriously eBay - treat it like a game, and do not be too disappointed if you lose. Can sometimes feel like gambling, but when you get a really rare and special thing in the post, it was all worth it.

That’s it for a series of emails we buy on eBay: I hope you learn something, and good luck in your eBay future. Now, though, you may need to start thinking it would be interesting to try to sell some items on eBay itself. Well, you’re not alone. Please sign up now for our email selling goods on eBay. See you there!
